Length of the Tribulation

The length of the great tribulation.
I believe the reason for prophesy and prophets of the Bible is to warn the people of things to come. Not so the people can tell the future but to know the future. To be able to recognize it as it happens and point it out to others. This has nothing to do with predicting the future but only pointing out the future that the prophets have already foretold.
The Bible gives us very few exact dates about the future and anytime modern day false teachers come up with dates they are proven wrong. Instead of calling yourself a prophet you should be teaching the prophets.
It has always puzzled me as to why the 69th week of Daniels 70 weeks is so long in this prophesy, more than 2000 years. Whenever the number 7 is used in prophesy you should always keep in mind that 7 don’t necessarily mean 7. It means spiritual perfection or Divine timing.

As I see it, the arrival of the two witnesses is imminent and then pretty boy arrives as the false messiah.
I want to focus on the last week of prophesy from Daniel and determine how long it is. We are still in the 69th week and headlong to the 70th week. I believe the last “week” has been shortened.
Mark 13:20 is a direct reference to the length of the tribulation and it being shortened. Revelation 9 is explaining what is happening during the tribulation with the locust army the scorpion H-Abbadon and G-Appollyon and it also gives us how long satan and the locust army will be allowed to continue which is 5 months. It is no stretch to conclude that Revelation chapter 9 tells us what will happen during the tribulation, but that it would also tell us how long it will last. And again it’s no stretch to conclude that the last week of the 70 weeks of Daniel would be shortened to five months because of God’s grace. There you have it; the last week has been shortened to 5 months. The tribulation has been shortened to 5 months.

Daniel 9:27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: (last week) and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Revelation 9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
Mark 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days “Those days” are a direct reference to the great tribulation and also how it will be shortened.
