Christmas: Mandatory Rejoicing

The Holy Pope and Church Doctor, St. Leo the Great, firmly stated that: It would be unlawful to be sad today…It would be unlawful for any man to refuse to partake in our rejoicing. If it were possible to criminalize sadness, depression, unhappiness, and despondency, then we would do so on this day. Incarceration for any grinch…imprisonment for the unredeemed scrooges of this world…and yes even fines and penalties for the melancholic on this day. No demoralization is lawful today…even in connection with unlawful motu proprios. No license shall ever be granted to weep for sorrow today, but only tears of joy are allowed. And why rejoice? We must rejoice for the destroyer of sin and death has come to cleanse us and to grant us eternal life. Our Savior has come to free us from sin and Satan’s Tyranny. In the Christ Child, we are no longer anathematized and condemned to eternal hell fire as children of wrath, but rather we are now commended to the Heavenly Father in so far as we share in the Sonship of that Divine Infant. We rejoice for we are no longer slaves of the devil building his satanic cities, but children and servants of the Most High building up the City of God. We rejoice for our God has arrived in the Flesh…and He Who is now our Brother…a fellow Son of Adam…takes on our enemy and defeats the original foe.
