This song... it’s so much I could say about this song. We could talk about how I wrote and recorded it over a year ago but never released it because I wasn’t “feeling it”. We could talk about how “pick it up” expresses how destined we all are even through these trials and tribulations of life. We could speak on how listening and feeling this energy filled song caused me to have a emotional breakdown/breakthrough because I felt as though past me was speaking to present me through my own song. Shiddd we can even talk about how over 50 percent of this video was shot in a 15 minute time span because I went to brunch, got tipsy and, had 2 photoshoots scheduled on the same day of my own video shoot.
