NYC Vaccine Mandate Protesters Demand Cheesecake and an End to Tyranny

On December 15, 2021, protesters demonstrated outside the Cheesecake Factory restaurant in Elmhurst, Queens, against a New York City vaccine mandate requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination for indoor dining.

The protest followed a sit-in demonstration at the Cheesecake Factory the previous evening, where protesters sat down at tables in the restaurant without showing proof of vaccination and asked to be served. According to media reports, six of the protesters were arrested for criminal trespass.
