UFO flew into a small town

From a scientific perspective, there is still no confirmed proof that UFOs are in any way linked to alien life, and initial official contact remains the domain of science fiction and the future. Though just a small portion of scientists are proponents of the alien source of the observed UFOs, the established scientific community of the world operates an extensive program of searching for extraterrestrial intelligence SETI. The program assumes the likelihood of spotting the activity of extraterrestrial intelligence within the scope of research, using technical tools, possible manifestations of this activity in near and deep space. With the advancement of computer technologies and the Internet, the program started to execute distributed information processing on thousands of basic user computers. In mainstream culture, UFOs generally signify an unidentified flying object, the appearance of which is related to the arrival of intelligent entities to Earth. Numerous individuals, including officials and scientists, are skeptical concerning the possibility of these visits and are certain that UFOs are an anomalous natural or aerospace phenomenon. Conversely, some former officials, military personnel and astronauts, following their departure from service, become public supporters of the alien origin of UFOs.
