What Ever Happened to Informed Consent??

Informed Consent, Y’all!

Where the heck did it go? I honestly don’t think many people know what is required by medical practitioners any longer!!

Did you know that medical practitioners giving a medical treatment, procedure or intervention are REQUIRED to FULLY educate you before offering them? Actually educate you based on your full health history! This is to ensure you know VERY clearly what the risks, benefits, and alternatives are to YOU!!

But on top of all of this it MUST be a VOLUNTARY choice!! You get to choose or decline the intervention without bullying! No coercion allowed – that makes it AGAINST THE LAW! So threatening to remove freedoms, employment, education, etc. is ILLEGAL!
