'Hide and Seek' (sketch) - original orchestral composition by Cecil Charles

Hey friends! Along with songwriting, I've been composing orchestral pieces.

I composed each, so far, wholly on the computer by placing notes on a staff within a free software program called MuseScore. Going to share all the 'sketches' as they exist now (because I'm excited about them) but the plan is certainly to have each recorded by orchestral musicians and to release an album of these instrumentals.

Then we'll see where we go from there, seeing how I've put lyrics to a number of them and I like the vibe of what's been created with those too.

They make me feel like I've entered some Terrence Malick audio dream-space (they feel very meditative) and so at risk of sounding pedantic, please consider listening the following way:

1) with headphones
2) with eyes closed
3) comment below

They seem to evoke visual imagery for many of those who've listened, so don't hesitate to comment below if any of these pieces make you see or feel something - the feedback is wonderful.
