Buck bedding: Don't underestimate their visual defences

I recently heard a podcast from LWCG folks and they were talking about how important eyesight is to mature bucks. And I 100% agree. Most of the well-defined buck beds that I find are situated where they can take advantage of their visual even sometimes over their nose. I know everyone talks about how bucks always use their nose and I'm sorry that just simply is not the case. Ideally, as in this case, the bucks will use both their nose and their eyes. I'm just finding it more and more that big mature bucks don't like to get in the thick nasty crap where they can't see danger coming. Your mileage may vary.
