You know how some people make a private doctrine out of a single text? We've found that to be true of Yeshua's words in Matthew 24:22: And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

We've seen people posit theories that this means that a day on earth will be shortened from its current 24-hour cycle, and others who use it to completely throw out all of the timelines in Daniel that perfectly follow the types and fulfillments of the annual holy days. Are either of those ideas, or any myriad of others, what Yeshua was teaching in this verse?
