Steve Reiter lost his wife in the midst of the pandemic, not to Covid, yet was unable to be by her side as she passed. This led to Steve finding out he wasn't the only one that was told he couldn't be with a loved one in the hospital as a loved one died alone. From this the Never Alone Project, www.neveralonepandemic.org , was started to help push for legislation so this doesn't happen anymore to family's dealing with hospital stays, nursing home stays and more.
