"Zhyrba" by Vladislav Buben is the first work ever to combine dark ambient/ambient music with authentic Belarusian folklore. The album's title is translated as 'sadness' which basically reflects the mood of the Belarusian folk throughout centuries. The music has absorbed the deeply rooted heathen traditions as well as everlasting will to live. The music passed by from generation to generation provides the opportunity to live longer than an individual can do - think that the recorded voices belong to the people who no longer are alive! Enjoy this pearl of creation with a pinch of sadness.
