I'm Peter Serefine and this is the Liberty Minute for Wednesday, day 668 of 15 days to flatten the curve.
Resident Biden has expressed support for removing the filibuster from the Senate in order to "protect our democracy" and pass new voting laws.
None of these ideas sound like protecting democracy to me, but let's look at some of the voting laws Biden and his party support.
Remove all voter ID requirements from all federal elections in all states. Voter ID has wide public support, but Democrats want it eliminated.
Require early voting, same-day voter registration, drop boxes, vote harvesting, and mail-in voting in all states.
What could possibly go wrong with federalizing every aspect of the most basic power We The People possess? Do you trust the behemoth, wasteful, and financially reckless Federal government?
