Tronnes, 51, is charged with first-degree murder in the killing of 39-year-old Shanti Cooper-Tronnes. His trial is set for June.

Police say Tronnes strangled his wife at their Delaney Park home April 24, 2018, then did mundane errands like taking the couple’s dogs to a park and doing chores around the house. But Tronnes, who has pleaded not guilty, claimed he found his wife unconscious after she fell in the bathtub.
