Sometimes you cannot approach the Bible with the prooftext method. We have to approach the Bible with precept-upon-precept. In other words, if we put several texts together, we can find answers to the things that were otherwise unknown. This is particularly true in Bible prophecy as you're going to see in this seminar. The matrix which God has put in the books of Daniel and Revelation unfold in such a way that when the matrix is put together, we began to discover things that we would not otherwise be able to know.

You see, there's an important difference between reading the Bible and studying the Bible! Now when we study the Bible, we're looking for timeless and unchanging principles or policies that God consistently uses to manage the universe. God's actions provide a deliberate imprint for angels and humans to study. We can see what infinite wisdom would do if it knew the end from the beginning – because God has infinite wisdom.

Now, let's go to the next point: God numbers everything. I remember when I was taking physics, I heard about avocado’s number. I couldn't figure out why that many avocados existed! Well, it's not avocados – it's Avogadro’s number. This number is 6.0221 times 10 to the 23rd power, which is the calculated number of atom molecules found in one gram molecular weight of a chemical substance.

Avogadro’s number is a big number! It’s 6.0221 with 23 zeros stuck out there. That’s a large number, and God put every one of them in there because God numbers everything. You don't believe me? Check out what Jesus said in Matthew 10:29, are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your father. Look at verse 30, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Cosmetologists tell me that the average head of hair will have somewhere between 100,000 and 200,000 hairs! Your mileage may vary!!
