Acts 2 starts out by stating, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come,” Here’s the scene, all of Jesus’ followers were together in one accord in the Upper Room. Then suddenly, the power of the Holy Spirit rushed over them like a rushing wind. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other tongues. So, the question then is, why does this matter? Why does it matter that they were all together? What does this have to do with the Day of Pentecost?
