Wake Up! - January 16, 2022

Last week, we looked at verses 1 to 7 of chapter 13, in which Paul talked about the responsibility of Christians to give to the civil authorities what we own them, namely submission, taxes, respect, and honor. In addition, we saw that God requires us to always do what is right, even when civil authorities order us to do what is wrong. In the latter half of this thirteenth chapter, Paul moves on to what we owe to other people, to the need for us to get ready for heaven, and how we go about getting ready.
