In 2020, the U.S. was jolted by not only the COVID-19 pandemic but also political turmoil. In 2021, Education Law is sorting out issues that last year’s events thrust upon us. In this presentation, student-side Education Law attorney Dan Rhoads will discuss recent court cases involving mask and vaccine mandates in schools, Critical Race Theory-influenced instruction, and the First Amendment.

The purpose of the presentation is to inform parents about the legal fights unfolding in the courts and about how the courts are ruling on these issues.
