Unloading a porcelain bisque kiln.

When you spent hours and hours to throwing, trimming, altering and carving porcelain clay, the last thing you need is a firing that goes wrong.
My first experiences with porcelain were the one disaster after the other, until I learned to understand porcelain. Since then I helped many artists around the world to work successfully with porcelain. I have 2 hands-on classes for the first part of 2022; one week-long class in my studio on April 17- 23 and another in Italy @ La Meridiana, which will be a 2 week class. I also have classes a available online, for which students can sign up ANYTIME.
All my classes are intense and detailed. I teach my students everything they should know about porcelain clay, how to throw or hand build porcelain objects, professional finishing and how to design porcelain objects so that they can have the most success. The highlight is when potters learn to fire porcelain successfully. We look at glazing, faults and how to remedy them. Most of all we have FUN!
