11 Things to know before you start meditating. Having the right expectations and understanding before trying something as unique as meditating will help set you on the right course. So many people quit b/c they don't know what to do and think they are doing it wrong. This video helps lay some foundation with 11 things I thought I could mention that might help you start a meditation journey.

The one thing I forgot is - surround yourself with other people that are spiritual or practicing meditation. Fellowship is important and almost half of what has helped keep me on my journey is having the ability to talk to friends about meditating.
