In this episode we prepare the antique mill and blade for a wider cut. The sawmill wants a machinist to fit a 48" circle blade to the arbor. In the machine shop we use a lathe to mill an insert for the blade.

Then we go to the sawmill to modify the hardware to accept the new larger blade.

Episode 2 is the installation and test.

Episode 3 will be the saw doctor diagnosing the blade to remedy the problems. And then install and test. (That is if I can get him to agree to the video!)
