The mysterious wishing tree in the NV desert Hwy. 50

According to the legend, this tree grants wishes. It began when a Shaman told a black prospector passing through to the goldfields of CA. He had stopped & aided the Shaman with a much-needed drink of water. In return for his kindness, the Native told him of a tree. A tree that if you made an offering of great sacrifice & if deemed as worthy. Then your wish would be granted. The only thing of value to him was the extra pair of shoes he had brought for the long journey. It seems the offering of the shoes was enough & his wish was granted. He went straight away to the goldfields & indeed struck it rich. Incredibly rich, in fact. He sold his holds & moved to England, where he was given a Dukeship
So next time you are out on Hwy 50 across NV., keep an eye out for the wishing tree.
