Testosterone and chemicals that look like testosterone broadly fall under a class of medications called "Androgenic-Anabolic Steroids." Anabolic steroids have a reputation they deserve of negatively impacting cosmetic users both while they're taking the drug and after they've discontinued use. They are known to cause profound and persistent psychological and physiological changes.
