VDH likes to talk about the "hollowing out of the interior". Well he is correct. I was there and witnessed it first hand. First the interior became filled with mean-spirited cruel people ... and now the coastal regions are the same.
That sucking sound you hear is everyone's standard of living being lowered each and every year. Remember, we did it to ourselves by not demanding more from public and private sector leaders. It wasn't Satan, it was our attraction to the same things that Satan loves which lead us to this dystopia.
