Dollar tree cheese ball/New Year's eve party appetizer
You can make a festive cheese ball fit for a New Year's eve party with ingredients right from Dollar Tree! All you need is 1 pkg garlic cheese ball mix and 1 bar of cream cheese. Bring cream cheese to room temperature. Open seasoning packet, remove 1 and 1/4 tsp, set aside for later use. Dump bar of cream cheese brought to room temperature into a mixing bowl. Add seasoning packet. Mix until well blended. Chill in fridge 1hr. Then remove from fridge, shape into a ball, then roll into remaining seasoning reserved previously. Serve with crackers. You can also find Martinelli's gold medal sparkling apple grape juice to serve along with the crackers and cheese ball. Now you have a fun, festive, and delicious appetizer fit for any New Year's eve party with ingredients right from Dollar Tree! Enjoy!
Note, I did find the cheese ball a little salty and garlicky for my taste. It would probably be better to use either a half a bar more of cream cheese or another full bar of cream cheese to the seasoning. However, I followed the directions on the box, and it called for only 1 bar of cream cheese.
