Dollar store Christmas dessert

You can make a beautiful and delicious Christmas dessert with ingredients right from Dollar Tree! You will need 1 can apple pie filling, 1pkg Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix, butter(margarine) and cinnamon sugar mix. Dump sugar cookie mix into mixing bowl. Add 1tbs water and 1/4c butter(margarine) softened. Mix until soft dough forms. Spray 8x8 pan with nonstick cooking spray. Dump apple pie filling into pan. Distribute apples evenly. Top apple pie filling with spoonfuls of sugar cookie dough. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mix on top of sugar cookie dough. Bake at 375 for 30-35mins(mine baked for 35mins). Serve warm, alone, with cool whip or vanilla ice cream. I topped mine with cool whip from Dollar Tree. Enjoy! Merry Christmas!

Note: if you do not have cinnamon sugar mix, mix 5tsp sugar with 3/4tsp ground cinnamon.
