Why I don't trust Jameson Ellis

Jameson Ellis is one of several Candidates primarying Dan Crenshaw in the 2022 midterm... I'll start by saying that Dan Crenshaw needs to go... but I do not trust Ellis a bit and believe that if the people of District 2 vote for him, they'll be trading one self-serving liar for another...

He recently did an interview with PGunnels and a lot of what he said during the interview came off as suspect to me and I couldn't help but notice that in that interview he did exactly the same thing that Crenshaw has been doing a lot lately - hand-waving any legitimate criticism that comes his way and calling those who talk about that criticism "trolls".

But maybe people SHOULD be talking about how his extensive history of being financially irresponsible and breaking the law suggests that people should be concerned about the prospect of having him represent them in congress.

Perhaps people SHOULD be talking about the fact that he started running for office simply because he wants to be a politician, and how that might influence his behavior if he ever got to DC.

Perhaps people SHOULD be talking about his past history of manipulating and lying to people to get what he wants?

Regarding those things, this is what I have to say - nobody is perfect and everyone has made mistakes in life. It is important that we bounce back from our mistakes. It is important that we learn from them and come back stronger and wiser.

But the things that Ellis tries to hand-wave as mistakes in this video are not mistakes, they are deliberate actions taken by a dishonest and untrustworthy person who is only out for themselves - if my time on this earth has taught me anything it is that a person can learn from mistakes but a liar will always be a liar. If, especially in his late 20s as he states, Ellis was still manipulating and lying to people... then he hasn't stop... the difference is that now his target is you and your vote.
