WATCH: Liberals get very upset when Poilievre asks questions about Canada’s housing market

Officials from the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation appeared at the House of Commons Finance committee on January 21, 2022 to address the country’s growing housing crisis.

When Conservative finance critic Pierre Poilievre demanded answers relating to a possible spike in interest rates and if the CMHC would support homeowners if Canadians default on their mortgages, Liberal committee members became very upset.
