Government Management of Covid-19 with MPP Roman Baber & MP Dean Allison

Joining us this week is MPP Roman Baber and MP Dean Allison to discuss how the government has been managing this past wave of COVID-19.

Canada is heading into its third year of Covid-19 management, with some provinces currently experiencing record cases of infections of the Omicron variant. Over the last few weeks, some provinces have also reimplemented extreme lockdown measures, such as cancelling in-person schooling, and limiting business activities. Add to these elements, the recent talk of taxing the unvaccinated that was initiated by the province of Quebec, and then the federal government’s move to limit our supply chains by disallowing unvaccinated truck drivers to cross the border from the USA, there is much to talk about.

Two elected voices bringing compassionate and pragmatic questions to the conversation are MP Dean Allison and MPP Roman Baber.

MP Dean Allison has served in many important roles in parliament over the last 18 years, including chair of public accounts, vice chair of International Trade and Foreign Affairs, and International Developments.
