Clark Gable’s Route 66 Motel room (RETRO!)

Clark Gable stayed on Route 66 at Boots Court Motel in Carthage, Missouri twice, in 1942 when selling war bonds and in 1947 when visiting a World War II buddy from Carthage. Boots Court was built by Arthur Boots in 1939 and has been restored to its original 1939 condition. I had a fabulous tour from the man who restored the rooms. New owners have taken possession and will continue the restoration process. This video contains footage of both Clark Gable rooms, as well as some information about his World War 2 service.
