Why to worship God?

Why do we have to worship God? Many times, people asked themselves thins question again and again looking to find out an answer to it!
Does God needs our worship? God does not need nothing from us or from anyone else.He is SELF SUFFICIENT! So, why do we need to worship Him?Why is so important to spend time in prayer, lifting His Name up? Why?
