Tim Langan - Held

"Held" was composed in and around 2001 entirely on my Korg 01Wfd synthesizer with its 16 track sequencer and appeared on my fourth Keyboard Composition CD, entitled
"A Bad Year For A Good Whine"
The premise of the groove was designed as a waltz type of ballad, which was supposed to give the feeling of being HELD within my arms tonight, HELD so still without a fright. It is caring and loving and empathetic. Throughout the shifts of time signature, it is meant to provide comfort.
In the current world that we are living in, where social distancing has become the new norm, let us remember, as all of our rights and freedoms continue to be whittled away, let us use this as a road map towards finding our way back to kindness, caring and Love.
