The Gray Hackle Yellow is a soft hackle fly that has been around for many many years. This version is a wonderful mix between soft hackle and wet fly with a modern touch. Along with the Partridge and Yellow it is a classic fly that is both fun to tie and fish. I go into the different versions of the fly and a little history in the video. I apologize for the capture of the two books I mention in the introduction being too blurry. My depth of field was two shallow so they are not in focus. I did include images of the books and there are links at the bottom of this description for anyone interested in getting copies of these books. Right now you can get them cheaper on Amazon than when they were published! - Enjoy
