Why do the Righteous Suffer?

Jesus told his people to expect suffering, persecution, and challenges in this life. The Bible give us the story of Job and Ruth to illustrate why it's vital to continue with a spirit of overcoming. Sometimes, as with Job, we are doubly blessed after a time of sorrow. Or in Ruth's case, we may not receive everything back, but instead are given a consolation. Others may suffer and die with no one to mourn them, but Revelation 21:1-7 reveals the flip side of 'reality.'
