20220124 - Liberty Minute

I'm Peter Serefine and this is the Liberty Minute for Monday, day 680 of 15 days to flatten the curve.
Over thirty thousand people gathered in Washington DC yesterday for a "Defeat the Mandates" rally. The group's motto is united we stand, in peace we march.
One of the organizers was very clear that they were protesting mandates, not the vaccine. They were not denying science. They were taking back their right to assemble and their right to choose, and it is about time. I'd like to point out that 600 days ago vaccine mandates were a right-wing conspiracy and the idea of a vaccine passport was openly mocked and ridiculed. Now, vaccine mandates and passports have cost thousands of people to lose their jobs and thousands more to finally stand up for the right to be American again.
