Clearing the SNOW! | Ryobi Expand-It Power Snow Thrower Attachement | 2021/46

I purchased the Ryobi Expand-It RYSNW00 Snow Thrower attachment last February, in anticipation for a heavy Winter. Unfortunately it arrived after our one and only snowfall of the season. Well, it's Winter again, and the snow is falling with no end in sight. So it's time to break this item out and give it a test run!

It fit easily onto my 40v Expand-It power head and with a fully charged 6ah battery I went to work. The unit is easy to handle, while heavier than an 18v device, it can easily be used with one hand. Pushing it along the sidewalk is easy. And it throws the snow with a slight leftward trajectory about 10 feet in front of me. (This is based on the type of snow we had, light, fluffy, and not too wet). By guiding the unit and aiming the snow, I was able to clear by 2 1/2 car driveway, and about 100' feet of sidewalk in just a few minutes. The battery still had half a charge!

Our snow fall is light, and infrequent, so I cannot justify a more expensive full sized snowblower, gas or electric. This was the right choice for me! A great addition to by 40v line, and am looking forward to using it in the future!

The Snowman was smiling, because he heard the Snow Blower was coming!
