D E T was written as my tribute to a very special friend who passed away on Feb 20th, 2004.
She was a great friend, an exceptional human being and provided a wealth of guidance through most of my younger years and was like a second mother to me. I had immense love and respect for her and she influenced me in so many positive ways, which could never properly be explained here in this tribute.
I think of her very often, especially at this time of year, the month of her birth and death. I miss you terribly Doris and know that you are watching over us. I thank you for your love, trust and kindness always.
