Why tongues? Why the Baptism in the Holy Spirit? What's the big deal?
The Spirit's Baptism with the evidence of speaking in tongues is so key - always has been - to living the powerful, victorious life God intended for you, no matter what's going on, on the planet! No, it is not a deal breaker for Salvation, meaning, not having it will not keep you out of Heaven. In fact, you can choose to go your whole life without it. Why you'd want to, I'd never know! It would be like going through life trying to build a city with a hammer, nails, and a handsaw when you could have all the heavy equipment and power tools instead! It’s not sin, but it sure is mighty inconvenient - especially in this hour in which we live! We need the Power Tools!
Speaking in tongues is an outward manifestation of a powerful inward force!
