Anchored VWAP - Futuristic Based Complete Trading System

The Anchored VWAP was developed in 1995 and added to TradingView in May of 2020. This new indicator is similar to the standard VWAP except it can be “Anchored” to a specific candle, versus the standard VWAP which starts at the first candle of the trading day. Is this new Indicator the future of intraday trading? I develop a complete trading system based on this single indicator and test it over 4 different instruments. After the test I will review the results, equity curve, give it a Trader’s Landing Score, and some optimization tips on how to improve it.

☝️ Long Entry
1. Wait for either an Earnings Report, Dividends Report, or Splits.
2. Put Anchored VWAP on the candle where the report is released.
3. Wait for 5 candles.
4. Price must close above the upper Anchored VWAP band.
5. Stop is previous swing low.

👇 Short Entry
1. Wait for either an Earnings Report, Dividends Report, or Splits.
2. Put Anchored VWAP on the candle where the report is released.
3. Wait for 5 candles.
4. Price must close below the lower Anchored VWAP band.
5. Stop is previous swing high.

🔥 Risk to Reward: 1:2

🛑 Where to place stop-loss:
For Longs: Previous swing low.
For Shorts: Previous swing high.
🚀 Where to take profits: 2 times risk.
