Kim Wilde is a British pop singer, author, DJ and TV presenter. She gained popularity in 1981 by singing the song "Kids in America", which rose to second place in the main British chart "UK Singles Chart". In 1982, the album "Select" was released with two singles "Cambodia" and "View from a Bridge". Both have been in the first place of the French hit parade and in the top ten of the German and Australian. The song "Cambodia" was written for Kim Wilde by her father, 1950s pop star Marty Wilde.
