What Does Empathy Have To Do With Forgiveness?

I believe when you can understand empathy and how it leads to forgiveness it is a healer of the soul.

Hurting People Hurt People.

That is just a fact. It doesn’t make what they did ok by any means. It gives it an understanding. It allows you the ability to release it and let God heal that person.

You need to release the hurt to get to real forgiveness. You want to understand it is not up to you to get revenge or even to fix that person. That is in Gods hands.

Empathy allowed me to get there.
