An Inspiring Message 📣 from Optimus Prime to the Canadian Truckers 🚚 | Freedom Convoy 2022

Peter Cullen looked to his brother, Larry, when it came to developing the voice of the heroic Transformer, Optimus Prime.

Larry was a captain in the Marine Corps and a Vietnam War veteran who had been awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.

“When he came home, there was a marked difference in his overall demeanor,” says Cullen, “But his advice to me was that to be a leader, I needed to be strong and compassionate. He said, “Don’t be a yelling, screaming, Hollywood phony. Be strong enough to be gentle.” Cullen added, “The tone of his voice was very, very clear and compassionate, and soft with depth. I went to the audition and there it was. It was Larry, my brother, on the pages in front of me. That’s how I handled it.”

Cullen has told the story before. But it goes a long way in revealing why Optimus Prime has had so much impact on pop culture, and beyond!.

Today, we find ourselves looking up to a whole new breed of leaders. Just like Optimus Prime, they too drive trucks. And they too exhibit leadership, compassion, and courage. They bravely bring to life all of the ideals Optimus Prime ever has. They are inspiring Canada… and the World!

And just like Prime, they too are bringing about TRANSFORMATION!
