E8: Interview with Alvin Lui

I had the honor of interviewing Alvin Lui, a parent who escaped California so his daughter can get a good education. After coming to Carmel in 2020, he noticed that Carmel Clay School Distribution was implementing the same practices used in California. He started sounding alarms and a nonprofit, Unify Carmel, to wake up parents. We talked about the decline of California, SEL, CRT, and his favorite DIE (Diversity, Inclusion, Equity), as well as his fight with the school boards.
