I get this question all the time. I’m not religious but I do believe in an afterlife of some sort. Here are some possible explanations to what happens after we die.

Different religions, cults, philosophies present probable theories to reassure human beings that there is continuity – you just don’t disappear puff. There are many ideas about what happens in the afterlife, depending on your belief system. It might be reincarnation, heaven or hell, nothingness, or even just a deep sleep.
