A man who has done wrong in the past and wants to change his life for the better seeks guidance in the church. Tells the devil to go away; he's not wanted anymore. He struggles with the devil inside and is determined to win the fight. The protagonist in the story is a man who has led a wicked life for many years. His wife has left him, taking their two children with her. He realizes that he cannot live without them and so changes his ways.
