True humility comes by a recognition that everything one possesses is of God and that the flesh profits nothing. It was this realization that caused David to dance among the people over whom he ruled. His wife didn't like it. She was a "Christian," suffused with delusions of her own importance. The greater one's stature, the more incumbent upon such a one to acknowledge that any and all temporary human greatness must be of God and not of self.
