Cut Away #4

This was one of the hardest opening's I've experienced. Both break lines on the canopy snapped. I didn't think I was likely to make it back to the DZ, while the canopy was flying fine after I resolved the end cell closure I didn't know if there was any further damage that I couldn't see.

Weighing my options I decided landing in a unfamiliar place, with only rear risers, and a questionable canopy was to risky and I decided to employ Emergency Procedures and go to the reserve.
