Chili Bike is an annual ride in February. The ride raises money for maintenance of mountain bike trails at Lake McMurtry in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Grand Lake Renaissance Festival is Grand Lake's Premiere Renaissance Festival and is produced by Williams Entertainment Company.

An Affair of the Heart, one of the largest arts and craft shows in the United States, is known for its quality and variety of merchandise.

OKC Fairgrounds is one of the largest and busiest event facilities in the country and is to events, concerts, rodeos, auto racing and much more.

Oklahoma City offers plenty of interesting things to do and boasts big-league attractions, including the Oklahoma City Thunder NBA Basketball team. Gaslight Theatre is Northwest Oklahoma's oldest and most active community theatre. Performances include comedies, dramas, and musicals. They also do children's theatre, kids' drama camp, and free Shakespeare in the Park.

Enid, Oklahoma was founded during the opening of the Cherokee Outlet in the Land Run of 1893, and is named after Enid, a character in Alfred, Lord Tennyson's Idylls of the King.
