How do we gain "real" perspective

Opinions are just that opinions. However, perspective is just another way at looking at the problem, issue, or activity. Someone's perspective can open your eyes to endless possibilities in solving a problem.
We receive so much advice from outside sources it can be overwhelming at times. Who do you listen to? Everyone seems to be a guru or advisor on so many subjects. What is real perspective and what is just an opinion? Vetting information is time consuming and costly when you attempting to get big things for your life, relationships, and business.
