Model maker creates impressive miniature creations including a FUNCTIONING LIGHTSABER

A model maker makes impressive miniature creations from a functioning lightsabre to a bar complete with a fully operational lighting system.

Filipe Miranda, a 25-year-old model maker, creates the incredible miniature scenes and settings full-time from his studio in Streatham Hill, South London.

His original models range from residential settings to mythical sites, including an abandoned medieval church, King Arthur’s Sword in the Stone and an underground speakeasy complete with an alight fireplace and under-bar lighting.

He shares the entire process online, from the original blueprints to each minuscule paint stroke.

The final products are so intricate it’s hard to remember they’re fake.

Filipe is also an expert in tiny details. His finishing touches include miniature branded alcohol bottles and soda cans, which are made from recycled full-size cans.
