If we have to meet a worldly standard to please God and enter heaven, then many of us are in trouble. We are not the best looking, not the smartest, not the wealthiest. However, the standard of Jesus is not a worldly standard. Christ is looking for people that will choose dedication. Christianity is about living a life dedicated to the straight and narrow way. That is the way to defeat Satan. God knows we can do it, if we will just make the choice to do it.
